Rajabhat Universities Network, RMUTL, and RMUTI visited National Pingtung University on June 15/16
After the 2017 Taiwan Thailand Higher Education Forum held in Kaohsiung, several renowned Universities from Thailand visited National Pingtung University. On June 15th, delegation from Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL) visited NPTU in the morning; in the afternoon, 24 delegates of 13 universities from Rajabhat Universities Network visited National Pingtung University to discuss future cooperation between NPTU and RUN. In the near future, the RUN Universities as a union is proposing to sign an MOU with NPTU to strengthen the already tight partnership. On June 16th, 5 delegates including 3 vice presidents from Rajamangala University of Technology Isan (RMUTI) visited NPTU. RMUTI is one of NPTU’s partner Universities in Thailand. The delegates overall had a good impression of our facilities. Both sides also agree to establish more collaborative programs in the near futures.
In the discussions with RUN and RMUTI, Prof. Tseng, head of the Department of Applied Physics, also gave a presentation regarding a short-term technical training program just initiated for the coming school year. This program is supported by the Ministry of Education. The program aims to recruit senior or newly graduated students from Southeast Asia who will receive one year studying and training at NPTU and corporative companies in Taiwan.
