"2025 RMUTT SDGs International Board Game Learning Design Workshop" Concludes Successfully — Co-Creating a New Future for Gamified Learning
由泰國塔亞布里皇家理工大學(Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, RMUTT)與國立屏東大學共同舉辦的「2025 RMUTT SDGs 國際桌遊學習設計工作坊」,於4月7日順利落幕。此次為期兩週的工作坊集結臺泰兩校師生,透過跨領域合作,深入探討桌遊在教育中的創新應用,共同打造遊戲化學習的未來藍圖。
The "2025 RMUTT SDGs International Board Game Learning Design Workshop," co-organized by Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) and National Pingtung University, successfully concluded on April 7. This two-week event brought together faculty and students from Taiwan and Thailand. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, participants explored the innovative applications of board games in education and co-created a forward-looking blueprint for gamified learning.
RMUTT 為泰國九所皇家理工大學之一,自1988年成立以來,持續專注於技術與應用科學領域的實務教育,長期與國立屏東大學維持緊密的合作關係。雙方透過雙聯學位、移地教學與文化交流等多元形式,持續推動國際學術與教育接軌。
RMUTT is one of Thailand’s nine Rajamangala Universities of Technology. Since its founding in 1988, the university has focused on practical education in the fields of technology and applied sciences. It has maintained a long-standing partnership with National Pingtung University, promoting academic and educational collaboration through joint degree programs, overseas teaching initiatives, and cultural exchanges.
本次工作坊自3月24日至4月7日舉行,課程設計橫跨桌遊機制設計、生成式人工智慧應用、遊戲測試與優化,以及文化交流等多個面向,為參與者提供豐富而多元的學習體驗。
Held from March 24 to April 7, the workshop featured a diverse curriculum encompassing board game mechanics design, applications of generative artificial intelligence, game testing and refinement, as well as cultural exchange activities—offering participants a rich and well-rounded learning experience.
課程初期由經典桌遊拆解入手,帶領學員深入理解遊戲機制與設計原理,並透過實際體驗掌握遊戲如何提升學習成效。隨後進入創意開發階段,學員需從無到有,融合敘事設計與教育內容,設計出兼具娛樂性與教育意義的桌遊作品。
The course began by deconstructing classic board games, helping students gain a deeper understanding of game mechanics and design principles. Through hands-on activities, participants explored how games can effectively enhance learning outcomes. Moving into the creative development phase, students were tasked with designing original board games from scratch by integrating narrative elements with educational content, aiming to create games that are both engaging and meaningful.
生成式人工智慧的融入,是此次課程的一大亮點。透過 AI 工具,學員得以加速遊戲開發流程,提升內容創新性,並更有效地優化玩家體驗。此外,課程亦涵蓋玩家心理學與行為分析,幫助設計者從玩家視角出發,創作更具吸引力的學習型桌遊。
A key highlight of the workshop was the integration of generative AI. By leveraging AI tools, students accelerated their development processes, enhanced content innovation, and optimized player experiences. The course also covered player psychology and behavior analysis, enabling participants to approach design from the player’s perspective and develop more compelling educational board games.
工作坊後期進行實際遊戲測試與迭代,學員透過玩家回饋進行調整,確保作品具備實際教育效果。活動最終以成果發表會形式呈現,每組學員展示其設計的桌遊原型,交流設計理念與實作成果。
In the latter part of the workshop, students conducted game testing and iterative improvements based on player feedback to ensure the educational effectiveness of their prototypes. The workshop culminated in a final presentation session, where each team showcased their board game prototypes and shared their design concepts and outcomes.
除了專業課程安排,活動期間也穿插文化參訪行程,走訪屏東與高雄地區的特色景點,並參觀餉潭國小與屏科實中,與在地師生進行交流。透過這些活動,促進臺泰文化理解與教育觀點的交融。
Beyond the professional curriculum, the workshop also included cultural visits to notable attractions in Pingtung and Kaohsiung. Participants visited Xiangtang Elementary School and the Affiliated Senior High School of National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, engaging in meaningful exchanges with local teachers and students. These experiences fostered greater mutual understanding between Thai and Taiwanese cultures and educational perspectives.
