本校校長陳永森今天（6月17日）馬不停蹄地進行其泰國訪問行程的第三站，來到皇太后大學（Mae Fah Luang University, MFU）。此行由皇太后大學副校長Prof. Dr. Sujitra Wongkasemjit親自接待，雙方進行了熱烈而富有建設性的會談。President Robert Chen of our university visited Mae Fah Luang University (MFU) today (June 17) as the third stop on his tour of Thailand. He was warmly received by MFU's Vice President, Prof. Dr. Sujitra Wongkasemjit. Both parties engaged in a lively and constructive discussion in the meeting.

會談中，皇太后大學對本校的資訊學院及理學院表現出了濃厚的興趣，雙方都期待未來能有更深入的合作。此次拜會的重點包括雙聯學位以及由臺灣教育部推動的新型專班合作。本校陳皇州國際事務長指出，新型專班是一個結合學校、企業和夥伴大學三方關係的創新模式，旨在吸引優秀的國際學生來臺就讀並留在臺灣發展。透過這種模式，學校不僅能促進國際合作，還能促進國際人才的循環與交流。During the meeting, Mae Fah Luang University expressed a strong interest in our university's College of Computer Science and College of Science. Both parties are looking forward to more in-depth collaboration in the future. The focus of this visit included dual degree programs and new specialized program cooperation promoted by the Ministry of Education in Taiwan. Our Dean of International Affairs, Kelvin Chen, noted that iSMART program is an innovative model combining the relationships between universities, businesses, and partner universities. This program aims to attract outstanding international students to study in Taiwan and stay for their professional development. Through this model, the university can not only promote international cooperation but also facilitate the circulation and exchange of international talent.

皇太后大學極為重視實習課程，認為此有助於學生將課堂知識與實踐技能相結合。通過實習，學生在思考、觀察、決策、分析和學習評估能力方面都能得到自我發展，從而具備滿足行業需求和追求個人職業所需的理論和實踐技能。雙方期待通過環環相扣的實質合作，提高彼此學生的交換意願，實現強而有力的招生目標，並增加國際學生留臺工作的機會。Mae Fah Luang University places great importance on internship programs, believing they help students combine classroom knowledge with practical skills. Through internships, students can develop their thinking, observation, decision-making, analysis, and learning evaluation abilities, thus acquiring the theoretical and practical skills needed to meet industry demands and pursue their careers. Both parties look forward to substantive cooperation, which will enhance the willingness of their students to participate in exchange programs, achieve strong recruitment goals, and increase opportunities for international students to work in Taiwan.

此次會面，雙方相談甚歡，並已約定於2025年續簽合作備忘錄（MOU）。期待未來兩校能夠為國際教育貢獻力量，通過穩固的友誼共創新的合作里程碑。

During this meeting, both parties had a pleasant and fruitful discussion and have agreed to renew the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in 2025. They look forward to contributing to international education and creating new milestones in cooperation through their solid friendship.
