NPTU is making a new friend from the United States, Youngstown state university, with MOU signing ceremony on Oct. 21st. Provost Dr. Martin Abraham and Assoc. Provost Dr. Nathan Myers exchange several ideas with NPTU colleagues regarding the future cooperation between two universities. After the signing ceremony, the delegates also visited the hands-on center in the college of science. They are very impressed with the efforts NPTU put on science education.

YSU is located in northern Ohio, a very industrialized area, yet very attractive living environment. They are one of the most affordable state university in the US. Several areas of academic fields have high ranking in the world. To seek for international engagement and visibility, YSU highly encourage their students and faculty to go abroad. They also provide a lot of high quality programs to recruit international students to make their campus more diverse and globalized. Sharing with similar strategies and value as NPTU, we look forward to the future win-win collaboration in the near future.
