Pattaragun Ponpigul(Jojane Phattaragan) and Jutathip Thaomonpun(Cat Jutathip), two exchanges students from Rajamangala University of Technology, Thailand, presented their research work at the 5-Phys Meeting held by the Department of Applied Physics on Friday, May 27. More than 150 physics majors from the five physics departments in Kaohsiung and Pingtung area attended this even and presented their research works via oral talks and posters. During the meeting, students as well as faculty had a lot of fruitful discussions and activities. Cat and Jojane’s research topic is “Resistance Switch Mechanism of Au/ZnO/Au triple layer”. The two young female scientists have joined the Department of Physics since early this semester. Their research is mentored by Prof. Hua-Shu Hsu, and supported by the whole grpup in Prof. Hus' lab.
