Malaysian Institute of Art Delegation led by Chairman Mr. Khoo Ee Ping visited NPTU for an MOU signing. Both universities agree to initiate more academic cooperation in the future.

MIA has established for more than 49 years and is the first institute aiming at arts in Malaysia. MIA offers 2-year professional diploma including interior design, arts, advertisement design, industrial design, and music. All programs are approved by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency of Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia. Graduates from MIA not only can enter the job market right after finishing their degrees, but also continue their studies by transferring credits to advanced institutes.

NPTU President Mike Y. K. Guu, Dean Hong-I Wu, Department Heads Yi-Yuang Chen and Chi-Wen Chang, introduced on-campus facilities and students’ art works to our delegates. NPTU also welcome MIA students to continue their studies in Pingtung.
