【國立屏東大學訪香川縣滿濃町交流 為臺日關係注入新動能】
國立屏東大學陳永森校長、陳皇州國際長及應用日語系教授郭碧蘭今日(7月8日)受邀前往日本香川縣滿濃町,展開為期數日的文化體驗及合作洽談行程。此次訪問受到滿濃町町長及副町長的熱情迎接,展現了當地對這次訪問的高度重視。
President Robert Chen of National Pingtung University, Director of International Affairs Kelvin Chen, and Professor Guo of the Department of Applied Japanese were invited to Manno Town, Kagawa Prefecture, Japan on July 8th. They embarked on a multi-day cultural experience and cooperation negotiation trip. This visit was warmly welcomed by the Mayor and Vice Mayor of Manno Town, showcasing the local community's high regard for this visit.
增田力先生為回饋家鄉滿濃町及駐臺期間受到台灣社會的關照 ,特別策劃了這項學生交流活動。此活動旨在讓臺灣人認識滿濃町,同時讓國立屏東大學應用日語系的學生有機會體驗日本文化。滿濃町也希望本校師長們能親自體驗當地文化,進一步加深雙方的理解與交流。交流活動每年持續進行,增田先生提供獎學金資助應日系學生前往滿濃町參訪,內容包括參訪香川縣的官廳、學校、文化設施及歷史古蹟,並以寄宿家庭(homestay)的形式深入體驗當地生活與文化。這項交流活動不僅增進兩地學生的文化交流與理解,也為學生提供了寶貴的國際視野和學習經驗。增田力先生,
in appreciation of his hometown Manno Town and the care he received during his stay in Taiwan, specially planned this student exchange activity. The purpose of this event is to introduce Manno Town to the Taiwanese people and to provide students from the Department of Applied Japanese at National Pingtung University with the opportunity to experience Japanese culture. Manno Town also hopes that the teachers and faculty of the university can personally experience the local culture, further deepening mutual understanding and exchange.The exchange activity continues annually, with 增田力先生 providing scholarships for students from the Department of Applied Japanese to visit Manno Town. The itinerary includes visits to government offices, schools, cultural facilities, and historical sites in Kagawa Prefecture, and a homestay experience to deeply engage with local life and culture. This exchange activity not only enhances cultural exchange and understanding between the students of both regions but also provides valuable international perspectives and learning experiences for the students.
此次訪問不僅是當地文化的深入體驗,更是為推動地方創生計畫尋求更多合作機會。滿濃町在落實地方創生方面也注入了不少心力,成為此次訪問雙方的共識。交流過程中,屏東大學代表們與滿濃町相關單位領域就多項合作議題進行了討論,包括強化校、院特色、加強國內外招生與實習、提升教學、研究及產學能量,並強化學習與職涯分析。雙方共同探討了如何在可持續發展方面合作,深化SDGs的落實,推動USR計畫,提升全球大學的影響力,以及發展在地、偏鄉、原鄉和新住民教育。此外,本校也著重於韌性建設,包括打造地方創生品牌、精進校務研究、建構永續友善校園及強化行政支持系統。未來,屏東大學致力於培育21世紀專業人才,推動彈性學制,促進國際及國內校際多元合作,以及推動EMI和ESP課程。未來,雙方期許在地方創生方面共同努力,並有機會簽署姊妹鄉協議,進一步促進合作。
This visit is not only an in-depth experience of local culture but also a search for more cooperation opportunities to promote regional revitalization projects. Manno Town has also put considerable effort into implementing regional revitalization, which has become a consensus between both parties during this visit.During the exchange, representatives from Pingtung University and related units from Manno Town discussed several cooperation topics, including enhancing the characteristics of schools and colleges, strengthening domestic and international recruitment and internships, improving teaching, research, and industry-academia collaboration, and strengthening learning and career analysis. Both parties explored how to collaborate on sustainable development, deepen the implementation of SDGs, promote USR (University Social Responsibility) projects, enhance the influence of global universities, and develop education for local, remote, indigenous, and new immigrant communities. Additionally, National Pingtung University focuses on resilience building, including creating a regional revitalization brand, improving institutional research, constructing a sustainable and friendly campus, and strengthening administrative support systems. In the future, Pingtung University is committed to cultivating 21st-century professionals, promoting a flexible education system, facilitating diverse international and domestic inter-university cooperation, and advancing EMI (English as a Medium of Instruction) and ESP (English for Specific Purposes) courses. Both parties look forward to working together on regional revitalization and have the opportunity to sign a sister town agreement to further promote cooperation.
此次訪問,本校師長們親身體驗了滿濃町的風土人情,並且在多次會晤中,就未來雙方在教育、文化等領域的合作進行了深入探討。此次行程順利而愉快,校方表示對未來與滿濃町建立更深厚的合作充滿期待,希望透過這樣的交流,進一步加強臺日兩地的友好關係,共同為地方創生與文化交流作出貢獻。
During this visit, the faculty and staff from our university experienced the customs and culture of Manno Town firsthand. Through numerous meetings, they conducted in-depth discussions on future cooperation in education and culture. The trip was smooth and pleasant, and the university expressed great anticipation for establishing deeper cooperation with Manno Town in the future. It is hoped that through such exchanges, the friendly relations between Taiwan and Japan will be further strengthened, contributing jointly to regional revitalization and cultural exchange.
