【國立屏東大學與日本和歌山大學簽署合作備忘錄與學生交換協議】
國立屏東大學繼泰國拜會行程後，持續推動國際事務，今日(7月5日)本校陳永森校長領隊來到日本和歌山大學(Wakayama University, WU)，正式簽署合作備忘錄(MOU)及學生交換協議(MOA)。此次合作旨在加強兩校之間的學術交流和學生互動，促進國際化教育發展。After the visit to Thailand, National Pingtung University continues to advance its international affairs. Today (July 5), President Robert Chen led a delegation to Wakayama University (WU) in Japan to formally sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for student exchange. This collaboration aims to strengthen academic exchanges and student interactions between the two universities, promoting the development of international education.
和歌山大學是和歌山縣唯一的國立大學，坐落於擁有豐富歷史和自然資源的地區，包含高野和熊野的世界文化遺產。該校擁有四個學院：教育學院、經濟學院、系統工程學院和觀光學院，致力於通過國際化教育和綜合素質培養，培育具備國際視野和專業知識的學生。此次與屏東大學的合作，將進一步促進兩校之間的學術文化交流。Wakayama University is the only national university in Wakayama Prefecture, located in an area rich in history and natural resources, including the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Koya and Kumano. The university comprises four faculties: the Faculty of Education, the Faculty of Economics, the Faculty of Systems Engineering, and the Faculty of Tourism. It is dedicated to fostering students with international perspectives and professional knowledge through international education and comprehensive quality development. The collaboration with National Pingtung University will further enhance academic and cultural exchanges between the two universities.
陳永森校長表示，屏東大學非常高興能與和歌山大學建立這樣的合作關係，雙方將通過合作備忘錄和學生交換協議互相學習、互相成長，攜手推動教育國際化。在全球化的背景下，這樣的合作不僅能夠增強學生的國際競爭力，還能促進雙方學術研究的進步。President Chen expressed that National Pingtung University is very pleased to establish this collaborative relationship with Wakayama University. Through the Memorandum of Understanding and the student exchange agreement, both institutions will learn from each other and grow together, jointly promoting the internationalization of education. In the context of globalization, such cooperation not only enhances the international competitiveness of students but also advances academic research for both parties.
